The history of the open joint-stock company “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” begins from 1930 when Stanislav electric power station was set in operation.
The main types of the open joint-stock company’s activities are the delivering of electric power to the customers of Ivano-Frankivsk region with the help of district branches of electric power net. Power engineering specialists realize very important mission: to bring the light to every house, apartment; to provide with convenient life conditions and with good conditions of business in Pre- Carpathian region, to guarantee stable development of prosperity of company’s partners and stockholders by professional staff of like-minded power engineering specialists.
The open joint-stock company “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” receives the electricity from the join energy system of Ukraine. Nearly two milliards kwh of electric power is delivered during the year. Maximum summer regional loading is 228 megawatt; maximum winter loading is 391 megawatt.
The enterprise delivers electric power to 500 thousand customers, 488 thousand of the customers are the inhabitants of the region, and our jurisdiction customers are: closed joint-stock company “Lukor”, closed joint-stock company “Magniyevyy zavod”, open joint-stock company “Ivano-Frankivsktsement”. They are consumers of nearly 50 % of all received regional electricity.
Electric power economy consists of 1889 km of air and cable lines 0, 4-10 kilowatt, 23928 km placental lactogen -35-110 kw, 130 transformers substations 35-110 kw.
There are 17 district branches of electric power net and central production services in the structure of the open joint-stock company; the general number of workers is 3 thousand of people. 742 of them have graduated higher educational establishments. There are 995 young specialists (age at 30). Dynasties of electric power engineering specialists work at the company. This work is like family business for them. Four workers of the open joint-stock company honored the proud name “Honored Electric Power Engineering Worker”; two workers deserved medals “For the work and victory”.
For the last three years the company extensively has increased its development. It is one of the best five regional energy production companies according to the calculations of Energy Market.
The open joint-stock company “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” works are also directed to the widening and popularization of additional services. Attached to the company there is branch establishment “Prykarpattyaenergoservice” which works successfully.
From October 15, 2006 Service centre open joint-stock company “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” begins its work. For the improvement of the partnership between the provider of the electric power and customers there is informative – consultation service in the company’s structure.
Nowadays the open joint-stock company “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” is stable and reliable company which develops energetically. The only aim of the company’s administration is to make it the best one in Ukraine. The strategy plan of the “Prykarpattyaoblenergo” development for 2006-2009 is made; the optimization of the system of administration and internal improvement of the company and also the formation of the given system of quality administration is continued.
